The bite has been GREAT all summer long. Caught these last week just before Hurricane Harvey. Fished the Nueces Canyon and some Hill Country creeks. Fish were very active all during the day. Caught bunches of nice Bluegill,Bass,Redear, and Rios. Also caught plenty of nice Longear. Fished a couple of times after Hurricane Harvey and the bite is still "ON"! Water bodies are in good shape. Fish are hanging around grass beds in water 3 to 4 feet deep. Worms with a bottom technique were used. Fish were released to fight again! Fishing some great rivers and creeks during the "Dog Days"of summer. It just don't get any better! fish

Great fish, especially that redear thumb

All the creeks in my area were blown out. My new favorite creek is still flowing like a river. Looks like I'll have to head your direction and fish the "Creek of Gold". Overnight temperatures are going to drop down to around 60 degrees for a few days starting next Wednesday. I bet Friday will be a good day to fish.

Thanks Curtis. I have been having my best days fishing creeks and small rivers this year. The water bodies have been in super shape with plenty of active fish. Will be fishing those water bodies hard this fall! hooked
