I currently have a HB 898 at the console and a Lowrance HDS7 GEN 2 on the bow, connected to my XI5 trolling motor via NMEA2000 and pinpoint GPS gateway. Is there a way to connect the 2 units via either ethernet or the NMEA2000 connections and be able to share the waypoints? Most of my waypoints are on the 898 from scanning. If not what, is the easiest way to transfer the 898 waypoints over to the HDS?

No. Humminbird and Lowrance don't speak the same language.
Using your waypoints exported to HumminbirdPC, highlight the file name and SAVE AS gpx to a memory card to load the data to the Lowrance.

Ok, thank you so much Wayne! I'll give that a try as soon as I get the chance to get back out after Harvey has passed!
