My Dad has had a hip replacement, a knee replacement, and sinus surgery which put a dent in our fishing time. I was worried that he would wouldn't feel up to getting out on the lake for a long while. He's back and we've been several times out to Lewisville getting into some good fish! We had our limit of hybrids in 2 hours on Saturday. We've been covering a lot of water looking for them. No magic depth. We've caught them in 16ft out to 40ft. I've tried several different techniques, and live bait is still kicking butt for me. Fish are moving and moving some more, so you must move to stay in the bite. Sandbass have bit consistently, just have to find a good group of them. Catfish have been mixed in as well at times. Slower overall than July, but still getting after them. Thanks for reading.
