well, I hope it makes it through the storm... It's in a storage unit that has been there since the 60s according the owner..

oh yeah, it's paid up, it's just a 20 year old boat and I would probably only get a few grand out of insurance.. I really want a newer boat, it's just a 16ft jon boat with a 40 hp Yamaha, but it runs great and long paid for and it's hard to get down there enough to justify the expense.
I almost drove down there last night but thought I might get turned around, or get stuck in a 10 hour drive... My wife is from Port Lavaca and we already have plans to go down there next weekend. Guess I will see what happens.
Had some family show up at 3 AM last night, we had booked a hotel room for them with a credit card, they sold the room out from underneath them.. That is crappy an they probably gouged the "new" people
