Couple of Riley's rodeo buddies stayed at Big Chief on Buchanan past couple of days and wanted to go striper fishing. Well Riley has already started school so we made a quick afternoon of it yesterday after school. On the water at 4:30 and off at 7. My best friend went out and caught bait and was waiting on us. Thought we were going to take my boat but have a dead cell battery. Biggest fish was 12lbs and two more in 10lb range. First time for Rileys friends to ever catch a striper. All caught on live shad in 30-40ft of water fishing baits down about 24-28ft.

Rodeo Pals for life!!! Its funny how you have friendships that span decades. I've known the little guy in the middles mom since the late 80's. We junior rodeoed, high school rodeoed, and college rodeoed together. Now Riley and Tanner are starting that same journey. Pretty Cool.

Nope. lol My friend ran barrels and I rode bulls and bareback horses. Her brother and step brothers rode bulls as well. We've been friends since
