August fishing is here, and we've had some great days and some slow days this past week. Low light cloudy days have made the fish go nuts at certain points while the blue bird days like today and yesterday drive the fish deeper and harder to catch. Today we had a really light bite from all species, but put some good ones in the boat. Yesterday was tough for me, but I had a couple outstanding days during the week. Limits can be caught if you are willing to put the time in and fish hard. Still live baitin while I can. I'm fishing on Lake Lewisville 5-7 days a week and hopefully can continue this for a long while! Thank you banker! The past two days have been pretty good. Yesterday was better than the day before for me. Yesterday evening my Dad and I went out. It was his first trip back since his knee replacement, and the fish went nuts with the clouds and storms nearby!
