Dad and I finally were able to link our schedules up so we could get out on the water today.
Went to Fork and it was a Gorgeous Day to be on the water.
We launched by the Big 515 and we tried the 515 Bridge, 514 Bridge, and 2946 Bridge and they are pretty empty unless you like 6 inch Crappie. We went back to the Timber in the heat to catch our fish today.
ACC 10 Footers.
Lime Green and Purple Feathers 1/8 ounce today.
Bite was same as what Bush Hog experienced on another thread.
Sometimes they hit it so hard they almost yanked rod out of my hand.
Other Times they bit so light you almost did not know you had a fish.
No Double Limit Today, but we did manage 23 Nice Ones that will bless us with 46 Fillets.
I got to spend the day fishing with my Dad...Priceless.
I'm gonna post a shot right after we launched and of our Livewell with the 23.
Gorgeous at Launch
Our 23 in the Livewell.
As Dad and I were driving to Fork we were listening to the guys on WBAP 820 and one of the radio host was talking about a good friend of his who worked construction. He has always had a tough time whe he sees blood. Something happened where he cut himself and he started bleeding. When he saw the blood he passed out collapsed and hit his head on the curb. They said he was going to die today. Very Sad tragedy.
I got off the Lake with Dad and was sent the news a very good friend of mine with whom I had the privilege of flying with at 3 Different Airlines just lost his battle with Cancer. Another Very Sad Tragedy.
I can't stress enough to live your life like every day may be your last because as we all know too well that it very well could be.
My prayers to both families.
Stay Safe out there Folks and Tight Lines.
