August fishing is here, and we've had some great days and some slow days this past week. Low light cloudy days have made the fish go nuts at certain points while the blue bird days like today and yesterday drive the fish deeper and harder to catch. Today we had a really light bite from all species, but put some good ones in the boat. Yesterday was tough for me, but I had a couple outstanding days during the week. Limits can be caught if you are willing to put the time in and fish hard. Still live baitin while I can. I'm fishing on Lake Lewisville 5-7 days a week and hopefully can continue this for a long while! Let me know if you're looking for a guide to help with the August pattern or just want to put some fish in the boat. Thanks for reading.
