Haven't chased sandies in a while but know where most of the popular spots are. Any recommendations on where to start? Will be hitting the water around 6:30 am looking for surface action. Thanks for any help

krappyfisher, I will be out there in the morning with an old friend. I have not been on the water since mid-July mainly because of the heat. You can consider me as being an elderly fisherman as much as I dislike the term. The heat just does not agree with me any more. Do not know about the surface action, but I will join in if there is any. We will be focusing on the 20 foot humps for the whites & hybrids. August & September have been good in years past using that pattern.

Don had a good tip. Focus on the humps and points in around 20ft.
