Hello, I recently got a casting net so I could get my bait more efficiently, and without having to go out and buy it. However, I can only catch about a bagfull of shad at the spot I go. That can last me about two fishing trips, but I'm looking for a spot (from the bank, not a boat) that has an abundance of shad and other baitfish that is easily accessible. Any ideas?

This time of year you can go to any boat ramp at night and shine the lights of your car into the water for about 15 minutes and start catching all you need.
As it gets colder you will either need a deep hole cast net and a boat or be able to go find them in the creeks.
