Being tone deaf I cannot hear the alarm beeps on my engine when the engine is running especially at WOT. I can barley hear it just turning the key on and if there is any background noise I can't hear it then. Everybody else can but not me. Is there any way to make this thing louder or a different tone? Maybe rig it to the horn somehow?

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."
Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

easiest thing is to wire a led light in parallel to the horn. put it on the dash where you can see it.

Well, this little LED works. Drilled proper sized hole in dash panel and inserted wires and the LED light holder just snaps into place in the hole. Used trailer wiring quick splices and turned on the key. Piezo buzzer sounds and the red light blinks once very brightly. I am guessing if I ever get a motor alarm it will blink in syncro with the buzzer beeps. I call this alarm piezo thing a buzzer cause it sure ain't no horn. I can hear a real horn.

Is the alarm buried under the dash? I added a red LED on my dash just in case, but had to clear mine from the wiring where I could hear it better. The piezo buzzer could be getting weak also....might replace it.

The buzzer is under the dash but the problem is I have hearing damage from when I was in Vietnam and can't hear certain tones/frequencies at all.
