Fishing report for mid August with me being off the lake on vacation, I have to go to my past experience and not a lot changes in August and September.
Sandbass fishing is always tougher than it should be!
You may have to cover the entire lake twice in one day just for a decent box of fish or you might be fishing with just a little weather change some mornings and it triggers a bite.
The deeper humps are always worth looking at for hybrids, sandbass, and catfish plus they will probably be suspended about halfway down.
Maybe you might want to throw out some sour grain and use some punch bait to catch catfish or put out a little brush and grab a few minnows for crappie fishing!
Myself I'm waiting until it cools down a little bit in October and the fish start feeding better.
I hope everyone is having a Great summer if you would like to book for the Fall Season.
