two biggest fish that I have caught were from slow rolling a big spinnerbait. I don't do it often but it still works.

This is truly a big bass technique. If you watch MLF Mark Davis was using this technique and did very well. It takes a 1+ oz. bait, continuous contact with the bottom or structure and confidence.
Deep flat, ledges next to deep water are great spots but don't discount ditches/drains in creeks. Go invest a full day and let us know how you did.
