Like you Curtis the hot summer has not effected me finding good quality fish! Been having great results all summer long fishing a lot of different water bodies!
I have been getting my best results during the early morning bite between sunup and 10am. I have caught fish during the hot times of day also when the bite as been to good to stop. I usually like being home before 2pm during the hot days of summer.
I have caught plenty of nice sunfish, bass,Rios, and Channel Cat's all summer long!
Side Note: If we had not gotten the RAIN we got this past fall and winter the water bodies down here would have been in bad shape and thus the bite on some of the places I have fished would have been very poor! The water bodies have held up nicely this summer thanks to the RAIN we have been having.
(Rain dance). This past 3 plus inches of RAIN has really helped!
