Didn't find them this morning. Only one sandy and several green trash fish. 12-14" Ditch pickles surface schooling everywhere.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

Sandies are definitely picky this time of year and I agree lots of small bass schooling.

there must be a huge shad hatch this year.. there is baitfish everywhere! Hard to fool them when there is so much natural food to eat! Right now.. they are about an inch and a half long.. from what I could see and that is tough to match the hatch. Maybe a small umbrella rig with crappie jigs on it.. just a thought!

Those small ditch pickles really hammer a small KVD square bill shad color. Smaller bait the better.
All the fish we caught were puking up 2" long shad.
