Not asking for spots! Just asking how you guys are doing when going deep? I'm seeing some spots I like on my navionics but haven't hit them yet as I've been getting familiar with certain spots being new to the lake.

Two weekends ago went and got on the big girls good.

Talked my college kid into getting up early and going Sunday morn based on how great it was, and it was really tough. Actually moved up shallower and caught some smaller fish, so seems hit or miss to me

I had found them around 18-20ft on Crig and 6XDs on hard breaks

Main lake for me and same depth as Brandon (before Sunday anyway), basically focused on finding some different structure or cover at the depth and with bait nearby

Use your graph and look for rock. Last week they were everywhere from 1-18 feet.

I was fishing out there last Sunday and had a pretty tough time. Apparently there were two tournaments going on which explained why my first spot had 4 boats on it.

Thanking the lord for another day on the water

Man, that explains a lot. I had boats coming in about 30 yards away on me at three different deep rock spots, and a boat sitting on a goto spot for two hours waiting for them to reload in there I guess. I checked the Bass Tournament Finder that afternoon, but it show anything for LL, so I figured its becoming the new normal.

Sunday was the Kings of Cowtown final day, you had 66 of the best teams in the metroplex out there. Not many secret spots those guys don't know about. Looks like they caught em good, big stringer from Sunday was 26 lbs.
