I'm surprised they haven't changed their policy yet.

I bought a new spool of 15# invisix yesterday. Went to spool a new reel last night and someone had taken the new line off the spool and put their old line back on and returned it. Then someone like me buys it and has to take it back. I would post a pic on here if it wasn't such a pain in the rear to do so. Unbelievable

Not hard to post pics and I can't believe some scumbag would have done that! Not saying that I don't believe you.

I would return it, Academy has always been very good with returns.

On my iPhone it is a big PITA......and works occasionally. Sometimes pics are upside down or sideways for no reason.

I was trying on Merrell hiking shoes once and opened a box to find someone took the new ones and left their old pair.

Something between my phone and the site. Sometimes the text to Save All Images is off my screen and I have to turn it sideways or vertical to find it. Shrinking the frame doesn't seem to work. Multiple images is even more of a train wreck and often impossible.

I'm no newbie to posting pics ..... the interface is just not perfect.

Happened to me at Best Buy a couple of weeks ago. Bought open box sound bar, when I got home and opened it their was a couple of 2x4's cut perfect to fit the box.

I use big game so it wasn't me.

Same has happened to me with Invisx at academy

Bought 2 cycle oil there a couple years ago.
Got home and started pouring it in tank and after the first bit the rest was water.
Took it back and they checked shelf and it had several gallons of it just like it on the shelf.

I bought the last spool of Invisx at Academy and bought a second spool at Bass Pro. One spool was 2/3 gone. I didn't know where I bought the bad spool so I didn't return it.

I worked retail and people would frequently try to return stuff. You could show them that the bottle of motor oil they were returning was filled with water and then they'd say that it must have been like that when they bought it and accuse you of selling it that way. It wasn't worth arguing.

bought a jug of mobil 1 at orielys --changed the oil on my truck --popped the cap off --no foil seal --full of used motor oil !

I bought some invisx once, got home and someone had switched it with 12lb h2o mono. That look on my face...

When I worked retail (computer/business machine sales in the early-mid 90s), we had to turn on the computer and verify everything before taking it back. We had a few occurrences of gutted cases or empty motherboards coming in on return.

However, we also had theft, people that would trade out ink cartridges on the shelf, steal memory out of demo computers, software theft was the "easy" one... which makes my point, it may not have been a return. Someone could've brought that spool in and traded out on the shelf...

It has been going on a long time.
