Should be maybe they just were very careful with it

Bought 2 cycle oil there a couple years ago.
Got home and started pouring it in tank and after the first bit the rest was water.
Took it back and they checked shelf and it had several gallons of it just like it on the shelf.

Some people are turds.

I bought the last spool of Invisx at Academy and bought a second spool at Bass Pro. One spool was 2/3 gone. I didn't know where I bought the bad spool so I didn't return it.

I worked retail and people would frequently try to return stuff. You could show them that the bottle of motor oil they were returning was filled with water and then they'd say that it must have been like that when they bought it and accuse you of selling it that way. It wasn't worth arguing.

bought a jug of mobil 1 at orielys --changed the oil on my truck --popped the cap off --no foil seal --full of used motor oil !

Got it to work. It sucks becoming the old guy that doesn't know how to work technology

I bought some invisx once, got home and someone had switched it with 12lb h2o mono. That look on my face...

They need a kick in the face!

and folks wonder why they have bad luck.......

When I worked retail (computer/business machine sales in the early-mid 90s), we had to turn on the computer and verify everything before taking it back. We had a few occurrences of gutted cases or empty motherboards coming in on return.

However, we also had theft, people that would trade out ink cartridges on the shelf, steal memory out of demo computers, software theft was the "easy" one... which makes my point, it may not have been a return. Someone could've brought that spool in and traded out on the shelf...

It has been going on a long time.
