I figured I would put this out there as I am pretty sure here is where I read about them. Anyway we are rookies when it comes to crappie or any kind of fishing really. Earlier this week I received a package from Constant Pursuit with a different assortment of stuff that I ordered in it. I figured I would change up my plans and only use jigs. My buddy joined us and brought a dozen minnows. Anyway we fished Lake Granbury from 2100 to 0200 last night and I am impressed with these Jigs.
We started on a dock that has been real productive for us. My wife threw out and caught one on the first cast. We also caught some sandies while fishing here. After they kinda let off after a bit we moved to another very productive dock. At first it was looking like maybe they weren't interested in the jigs so I set up a second reel with minnows. My buddy did the same on the back of the boat. They didn't go for minnows either. After a bit all the sudden they turned on again because my wife ended up catching 5/5 cast in a row at one point.
We didn't catch anything on the Minnows. I do not know how many we did catch total because we didn't keep any but when it was hot it was hot. We caught Crappie, Sandies, small stripers, a catfish, and of all things a 15# carp on my buddies setup. That fish put up a helluva fight. We were using Pink and Green Jigheads. I couldn't tell you the colors as it appears CPO has their website down currently. Basically figured on mixing it up a little and seeing if one worked better than the other as I got a decent assortment from them. I cannot say that last night that was the case. I may go out again tonight and see if the results are the same. From what I have seen I can see why they stopped taking orders. I don't know 100% but I would assume they are backlogged up to the neck.

Good people make good products. Good products sell themselves.

Lane Palmer makes on of the best plastics ypu could ever use. I am currently in Indiana visiting old friends and we fished a private pond as well as several lakes. I had a Crappie box with me, doesen't everyone carry one?, and used Laners white hot thumper at the pond. Immediately caught large Red Ear bluegills as well as largemouth bass. My buddy put his wigglers away as it was a lot more fun to cast/ retrieve than throw a cork out and sit and wait. Needless to say I am going back to Cedar Creek without my box!
