I stopped recording the FLW shows. The vast majority of the lakes they seem to fish have guys using nothing but fairy wands trying to catch "giant" 3 pounders. And their show just kept getting worse and worse each year.
duelI noticed a little a jeasouly, must of lost to a finnesse fisherman this year.My biggest this year 9.22 plenty of smaller ones mostly on drop shot or shakey head. I never cry when I loose to flipper it's just fishing. Good luck may u catch something worthy to ease your pain.

FLW doesnt chase the spawn. Real fisherman in real scenarios.

I actually watch flw more than bass. I've watched more of the Cup than the classic this year. I like the grassroots anglers who still work but chase the dream. Lake Murray looks like an awesome lake. .Can't wait to see who pulls this off. I am surprised it doesn't get push like the Classic. All I know the state of South Carolina has the cup and Classic next year. This must be great for local encomy . Pencil poppers I haven't fish them in years. Good to see old lure still produce.

I prefer FLW over BASS but not for their productions. I really don't watch either on tv regularly. I do watch everything I can when researching a new lake or a paticular season that I'm practicing for a tournament for.
Over the past 3 years I have fished FLW events, first as a coangler then as a boater, I have had the opportunity to fish tournaments from the BFL one day tournaments to the Costa 3 day events and even was fortunate enough t fish a Tour event.
I can tell you first hand that you won't find any better people that the people that run FLW.
I have met many new friends over the past 3 years and look forward to each event.
Although I have not fished any BASS events I have talked with several friends that have and they all say that they feel like FLW does more for and cares for their anglers better than BASS.
With that being said, I am biased because of my experience with FLW and lack of with BASS. I'm sure sooner or later I will have an opportunity to fish a BASS tournament and hope my experience is close to what FLW has been for me.

I like the flw because there's less slavery to sponsors than on the elites. Having coanglers is a plus too, still don't like that bass decision. Watching circuit breaker reminds you they still struggle like you and I.

Watching it live. With the schooling action I would have thought they would have all the hooks changed out and several rods with the same bait. You would think they would not want to miss one set of blow ups.

The Osprey dive bombing Atkins was pretty cool.

Is this on local tv channels? I don't watch much tv so I wouldn't know.

Congrats Justin Atkins what an awesome tournament.
Nice class topwater fishing and suspending bass

Wow Alabama won the Classic and the Cup
I wonder how many times that has happened?

Second time in three years the guy that wins it is someone I've never heard of and I follow professional fishing. Yes there are very good fisherman at FLW but I honestly can't get around seeing it as anything more than a training ground for the bassmaster elite series now.

I had a great time there. I stayed with Anthony Gagliardi. It was great experiencing being there from launching his boat in the mornings to watching FLW Live to listening to next days strategy at the end of the day at the house during dinner. It was just cool being for it all. It was the closest I will ever get to fishing in a major championship.
