2014 Mercury 150 Pro XS. It's DFI so the oil mixes from the reservoir. However, I've seen some guys talk about mixing premium plus oil to their gas tank at about a 150:1 ratio for added lubrication seeing as the injectors never see that oil that's mixed from the reservoir. Do any of you guys mix the premium plus into your gas?

No, but if you really want to know ask Don Weed on BBC.

Yes, I run it and Don's cocktail with all gas in my Opti. Doesn't hurt a thing and Don recommends it, per Mercury.

I see guys get carried away with additives. Only additive I would add to the fuel is techron, main ingredient of Ring Free or Sea Foam. The quality of the fuel we buy is our largest problem. I don`t see how adding dfi oil would hurt anything.

You don't want to add DFI oil, just Premium Plus, DFI won't dissolve in gas, it's made to be directly injected into the cylinder, the Premium Plus is designed to mix with gas

Oil is injected into VST, then high pressure to injectors, so they get oiled.
