Chargers are approximately 2 yrs old. Battery models are the M-3160 and the M-3180. Trolling motor battery is one battery for a 24 volt trolling motor. $2250.00 This set retails for $4221.00
Thanks in advance!
This is the 24V 60Ah Marine Trolling Battery we recommend for freshwater and saltwater tournament anglers using 24V trolling motors. At 30.3 lbs, it is hard to believe that ONE battery can do what two group 31 marine batteries* can.
In a flats boats and other shallow water fishing boats where weight is a premium, this is a fast and efficient way to take 85 lbs* out of the boat. A lighter boat is faster and more fuel efficient and can get into more places. Catch fish where your competitors can’t.
The M3160-24 battery features 138 reserve minutes, or enough power for extended trolling in one area for up to nine hours.** In addition to that capacity, the on-board DC charger automatically recharges the trolling battery from the outboard engine’s charging system.
Imagine being able to troll all day long with only one battery! The M3160-24 battery is the same physical size as a typical group 31 battery, so it fits in most marine battery trays. (13″L x 6.81″ W x 8.43″ T) Installation is a snap and you are ready to go with a Lithium Pros battery that is “strong all day long.”
M3180 12V 80Ah Marine Starting Battery – The M3180 is a Lithium Ion Battery for starting outboards of all kinds. It is equivalent capacity to most Group 29/31 lead acid batteries on the market. The M3180 12V 80Ah Marine Starting battery can be used for both engine start and deep cycling all in a standard Group 31 case. (13″ L x 6.81″ W x 8.43″ T)
It features one of the most advanced internal battery management systems in the marine industry today. This fully integrated digital battery management system insures long life and trouble free service all safely sealed inside a lightweight box. This battery features 1,200 Marine Crank Amps (Eq) and will have no trouble starting most conventional outboard engines on the market today. It can safely be used with any outboard charging system that is AGM and Gel battery compatible including Yamaha SHO. See Yamaha FAQs
The M3180 12V 80Ah Marine Starting Battery has a 184 minutes of reserve capacity making it the battery of choice for boats with multiple 10″ or less graphs running simultaneously.
Having trouble with graphs resetting during an engine crank? The high power Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry used in this battery holds a higher voltage as it is discharged eliminating this “reset” issue. Avoid going to two 12V batteries by choosing Lithium Pros!
Charging is simple because your existing 12V AGM or Gel battery compatible charger will work fine.* Recharge times vary based on the size of the charger, outboard run time, and charging system but most anglers tell us they are “green light” on the charger before they go sleep! That’s peace of mind.
In spite of all the power contained in this battery, it still ultra lightweight at an amazing 25.2 pounds!
The M1224 is a 24VDC Marine Battery Charger. It is a waterproof battery charger designed for “charge on the run” meaning it charges while the outboard is running. It works like a typical battery charger and it is designed for Lithium Iron Phosphate cells. However it gets it’s input energy from the 12V system in the boat instead of a 110VAC wall outlet. It converts this 12V energy into 24V energy and properly charges Lithium Pros’ 24V batteries. This 4.5 lbs system permanently mounts in the boat between the 12V and 24V battery(ies) and connects to each. The 12V ground and 24V ground are tied together for a common ground. The 12V positive terminal provides input to the 24VDC Marine Battery Charger and the output from the M1224 24VDC Marine Battery Charger goes to the 24V positive terminal.
This unit is completely automatic in operation. Anytime the outboard is running OR anytime a 12V charger is connected to the 12V side of the boat, this unit is simultaneously charging the 24V battery(ies). Don’t worry, it prioritizes the 12V battery and insures it is at 80% State of Charge before it starts charging the 24V battery(ies) so you’re always good to go.
What is the advantage? A lot! This system allows the outboard’s charging system to recharge the 12V battery AND the 24V battery(ies) at the same time. Every time the outboard starts and runs both the starting and trolling battery(ies) are recharging. Go further with less battery weight by generating charging power on the run! Never run out of trolling power again. Simply start your outboard and you’re recharging!
Depending the balance of outboard run time vs. trolling time, you may not have to plug your boat in at all. It’s common for in-shore saltwater anglers to go for months between battery charges with this system. Freshwater anglers typically still plug in the boat at night because they typically run the outboard less. When you are back to the cabin at night, plug in the 12V on-board charger and this M1224 24VDC Marine Battery Charger automatically tops off you trolling battery(ies) before morning.
