After a long three weeks of no fishing, I was fortunate to get out on R C with James Reed (Fish On Guide Service) yesterday. I have been seeing lots of reports of tough fishing for Whites so we started out the day looking for a topwater bite. we never located any surface bite but did find some whites and were able to boat quite a few on slabs in a vertical presentation and blade baits and spinners in a smoking presentation. It wasn't as easy as some days but no problem finding or catching fish. We then went hunting for live bait and found plenty of threadfin and a few gizzard shad. We had a great time catching and releasing lots of hybrids that were lip hooked and ended up keeping a few that were belly hooked. The largest fish of the day was just over 8lbs. sorry, I don't know how to post picks but check Jame's facebook or website dallasfishingguide.com he may post some up. Red
