Any tips on fishing this area. I have no access to a boat nor time for a charter. I can fish on Thursday and Friday only. Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers!

Surf should be good at sunrise. Wade inside the convention center Old causeway at night.

Thanks! I went to SP and tried the surf at sunrise on Friday. Not even a nibble, but the sunrise was beautiful. The riptide was extremely fast and the waves varied from standing on sand to chest high. Luckily, my blender crushes ice really well!

cast a light carolina rig into shallow surf early morning- use small treble hook on 18 inch leader - drag slowly in and you will get bit . mostly whiting but other species are present. use small pieces of bait shrimp- you will catch fish.

This....but fish bites work really well and stay on the hook better than shrimp.
The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?
