Low oil warning light comes on and then will sometime go off.
Checked both tanks and they have plenty of oil.
Overheat light will come on intermittently. Checked tell tail and have a good stream
of water coming out and I have water pressure. This only happens at idle.
Any thoughts?

Nine post on the first page asking for help on mercurys. So I wouldn't buy one of those either.

That screen in the oil tank may be the problem and you are actually overheating. When was the last time you changed the water pump?

Yes you don't want to get a Yami. Mine has over 2000 hrs on it in 17 years. Original power head. The OX66 is almost indestructable.
