Anybody launch from Doe Branch ramp? It's the closest ramp to my house and I'm hoping it's not a sketchy area to leave a truck & trailer. How is the trail towards to main lake? Safe for WOT?

Toad, this was from an earlier post. Doesn't sound like a place I would use.

Doe branch is full of trash. The parking lot is a complete mess - old broken furniture laying around, car parts, etc. People go off the road behind the lot and drive down some trails with their old beat up 4WDs and do who knows what. Maybe they're just trail driving and having a beer and chilling out, but then again maybe not. It doesn't seem like a very safe area.

Thanks. Just found a ramp right next to the beach that's just a mile further and looks to be in a much better area.

I'm not sure the Navo boat ramp is even functional anymore.

I live in Mckinney so a straight shot west on 380 towards the big creek arms where there are a couple of ramps would be ideal.
