I added a oil deletion kid to my 150 XR6 150 mercury. Now cannot get the warning buzzer to turn off I have remove the wires from the engine taken the tank off and it still is going off. Above the old injection is the sensor I've even removed it still going off. I checked the tank under the hatch for the reserve no wires running to it confused?

did ya remove tha oilier module?

so I need to remove the whole box not just disconnect?

better that way.. jus to be sure its tha oilier settin it off do this.. there is a purple and a tan/blue comin' from tha module goin' to tha starboard side of tha motor.. each one goes to plastic term block. one with purples on it and one with tan/blues on it.. disconnect tha purple goin' to tha module leavin' tha others.. same with tha tan/blue.. if you still have an alarm with those disconnected then over heat circuit is gonna be tha culprit.....
