Good Morning All. I got a chance to drop my tube in for a little while last weekend. I started by using Plastic Bobby Garland. I missed a good amount of bites. But when I would bring the jig up. The tail would be gone. Very quick bites. I have always thought I was good at knowing if was a crappie or not. Didn't get any fish but a million bites. Maybe perch?????

I had the same thing happen to me. I think it was probably turtles as where the tale was cut off, it looked like a knife or scissors were used. Very straight edged.

Its perch. Have it happen all the time. You got to realize perch spawn 4-5 times in the summer.
