Hey went out Saturday night on Lavon to do a little fishing with the family. Set out a few jug lines in a small cove on the way out to our fishing spot. We returned a few hours later to find a couple of our just washed up near shore. Would it be too much to ask if you need the fish more than I please take them and re-bait. For me, that would be a much better solution than cutting the lines and tossing the jugs.
Thanks

Sometimes people just run over them. May that line be tougher than their lower unit seal! Karma is a bitch. cool

I was rounding the entrance to a wide creek to check my jugs. Down the creek comes some A-hole speeding down the creek and ran over 2 of my jugs. I hope it tore up his seals, POS. No cure for little man syndrome.

These days you need to set and then set and watch'em
Cowards only act when no one is watching
Thats the primary reason I do not set jugs Fri-Mon,to many glitter boat thieves

A lot of hatred being spewed here for some big unknowns. Is it possible that they were drug up shallow by fish that then worked themselves off of the hook? Why would somebody take the fish and then go through the trouble of moving the jugs up shallow. Wouldn't they most likely have just left them where they sat?

Sooner you do have a point even if have never had a fish do that. I would think thieves would just cut the line to make a faster get away. Turtles may have eaten the bait.

Lines were cut on both. One clean off at the jug and the other at the swivel 50 lb mono. both were free floating with 3oz weight.
If fish had broken off I would have expected them tangled in a tree/rock
