Went out over the weekend for some scouting aka I am out of fish, and came back with a decent mess. Brian and I were on the water from 1-3pm, pulling 29 keepers in 18-22ft of water. We fished two spots that consisted of low lying tires and brush, both of which were close to much deeper water. The fish wanted the jig pitched out and slowly pulled up off the bottom. We used Carney Man Thump Chubbies on 1/8 ounce unpainted heads. With this week's cool temperatures, I would imagine fishing will be quite productive.
