Couple of really good days catfishing on Lewisville this weekend. Yesterday I had Chris, Brian and Braden out for a morning trip. We looked all over for some hybrids that wouldn't bite live bait for a few hours. Then we chased some blue cats and ended up boating 13 blues out of about 40 bites. It was just another light bite day and they were not that aggressive. They had a great time and Chris pulled in a nice 31" 12 lb slot fish.
Today I had Rhonda and Kaine out on Lewisville on a gorgeous August morning. The clouds and breeze felt great. The fish enjoyed it as well and they were biting really good until the winds stopped and sun came out together. They did manage 25 really nice cats before the bite died. They had a 28" 8 lbs fish and several 26" fish. Really nice cooler of fish. They had friends in a second boat that also had a great morning fishing with Jeff their guide as well. All fish caught drifting fresh cut shad in 28-33ft of water.
