When do the summer crowds begin to thin out in Port Aransas? I'm assuming after Labor day, or do you need to wait until the cooler months? I know weekends are usually crowded, but I'm wondering about things in general

After Labor Day things slow down...mid week after Labor Day they really slow down....we normally go around first week in October and crowds are thin and weather is great...

We also go in late September/early October and the crowds are pretty well gone by then. No long waits for a table in restaurants, the beaches are far less crowded, and wait times for the ferry are a lot shorter.
