I'm partial to Shimanos, but any quality reel > $100 with 7:1 to 1 or faster with good drag and anti-reverse will serve the purpose well.

Anything around $100 (including sale prices) is a pretty good quality reel. Approaching $200 gets you a lighter reel and sometimes higher quality internal parts. A few more bucks also seems to get you a larger handle assembly which I really, really prefer on all of my reels. Punching, pitching and flipping is all about high drag and high gear ratios. My concept A's come with a 22lb bulldog drag system which is extremely stout. They are lightweight, cork handles are an excellent feature and I really like them. $175 brand new. Or save a few bucks and buy them slightly used which is the route I went and haven't had a problem. I'm no brand snob but these are definitely my favorite reels out of the Abu, Quantum & 13 Fishing reels that I own.
If you can't find em wind em.

Thanks everyone. I’ve used lews for punching and flipping but am looking for something new. Thanks for the suggestions!

Not meant to sound like a smart ....but whatever quality reel you use and like now for other applications will work great. Personally I use a 7-1 ratio on just about everything except deep diving crankbait/swimbait reels. I use Revo STX and SX simply cus that's what I like/have. Whatever you like!

I like the Revo Winch for punchin/flipping/pitching. I know it goes against today's theory on using high speed. I will take increased power over speed in those techniques. I think the Lews Super Duty is another good choice. Fact is there is no wrong choice here.

In use either a lews super duty or tournament pro. The only reason I have the super duty is because the old pflueger jihad that cost $50 finally wore out after years of abuse. You don't need some fancy reel. I like the super duty but that old pflueger cast a frog better and farther.

Shimano or Diawa will last. I've gave up on lews and revo.
