Anyone catching anything on Canyon? Don't want to pull my boat all the way from Killeen if fish aren't biting. Interested in whites or Stripers.

It has been hit and miss with all the heat.you have to go early, first light. Humps and ledges close to The dam to mid lake and have good electronics. Hope this helps.

This time of year is good if you have down riggers and don't mind using them. I fish Canyon a lot but not during the summer due too all the boats.. come fall as the water temps drop the Stripers on the surface will be like clock work by the dam. Bring a top water lure and a spoon and it's non stop! Good luck!
