Gitter- I have a Rio going on 4years.
I can't keep bass as long as I'd like, they grow so fast when young. A little 6" fish can get over a pound in 1/2 a year with easy food.
Will be in Hill Country and hope to bring back fish I don't see around NTX

I know of two spring fed creeks that empty into Red River north of Bonham that has a lot of Red Horse minners. We used to seine those creeks for bait and caught lots of them. Regular old shiners were better bait and were easier to keep alive. They sure are some pretty lil fish.
