Is there anyone in the DFW area that owns one and would let me check it out. I think this will be my next boat and want to check a local one out before I go cross country to buy one.

Saw a brand new Basscat Jaguar at Bridgeview on Fork Sunday. Black, White, and Tan. Beautiful rig!
Had a big Merc hanging on the back.

What does that have to do with the O/P's question? Im sure he has seen other Bass Cat boats as well.
There are quite a few BassCats around Lake Fork all the time.
I know someone that has one at Lake Fork but none in the DFW area.

I haven't heard that before but it is supposed to ride like a 20ft boat, and that's what I have heard about it. BassCats are good solid boats that handle rough water very well including the P4. I have a Cougar and love it.

I don't mind driving out that way.

The guy I know that has a P4 loves it. Have you also looked at the Cougar or the Puma?

I have a 2014 P4 that I would be more than happy for you to come take a look at. I'm located on the northwest side of Fort Worth. I'm headed out of town in the AM to fish and will be back Sunday. I will shoot you a PM with my contact info.

As for the P4, it is the best 19ft boat I have ever been in. I love mine. It does handle rough water like a larger boat.

Lynn

The P2's are almost the same. Had one and it's a great boat. May be a P2 or P4 in the boat section here.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

Mine is a 2000 Pantera Classic. I love it. Ride is great, even though I suck at driving in big water. I'm not sure how the Classic compares to the IV, but if numbers are right, I would guess the IV is even better than the Classic. Since you are in Rowlett, you might call Tommy at Rockwall Marine and ask their opinion. He tipped me off on my boat, and it was a great buy

P2 and p4 are nothing alike. P2 is like a sports car. P4 is like riding in a luxury suv. They don't even fish the same.

P4 reminded me more of a caracal than a p2.

Because it was one of the best looking boats I've ever seen. Lighten up!
