Got up early to fish for a few hours before work today and landed this dark beauty on Cibolo Creek:

I love redbreast sunfish. Greatest fighters of all in my book. Beautiful as well.

Here's a dandy my sister caught in the Guadalupe.

Nice fish! I'll bet I've caught more redbreasts out of the Guadalupe than anything else.



They really are great fighters. The one I caught this morning pulled like a tank on the 5 weight.

The redbreast have really been hammering the brown hoppers this summer, epic strikes on top water!!

Nice fish. Can't wait for more!

Been catching a lot of nice Redbreast this year including this one last February on the Guadalupe River.
