Heading down to Galveston tomorrow to do some wade fishing. I want to pick up some sting ray protection boots just for some peace of mind. Where in Houston or Galveston can I stop to pick up some Ray Guard Reef boots or Hodgeman boots? Any retailers where you can purchase these? I've seen the Ray Guards (but not boots) at Academy. I don't want those, just the boots.

Academy's south of I-10 are much more saltwater savvy. Fishing Tackle Unlimited on Gulf fwy will have them, Marburgers in Pasadena or Seabrook.

Thanks Pat. Those options will come in handy on my way down.
