Thoughts, opinions, experiences?

"..The pleasantist angling is to see the fish
Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

My thoughts are, I wish I can get one to try it out. I'm not paying those ebay mark-up prices.

seems like they could've done a lot better job Imo. if you slow it down it all the tail just kind of flops and doesn't rotate at all. I bet somebody comes along soon with an improvement on this good idea.

Make your own. The trick is using the right tail. It needs to be a bigger tail and kind of stiff. I would like for a pourer to make some like a plopper tail that are kind of stiff plastic with that twist in the tail to get it rotating.

Had the nose of the bait split right down the side after only a few fish. The tail is just a oversized split ring attached to a swivel, pushed through the back of the bait and attached to a swimbait keeper. For $15 retail, quality of the components are poor imo.

The ones in the right side seem to work best. But the money minnow tail works good too

Yea. I've been using a money minnow or strike king tail but that's going to get too expensive. I might try to make one of those molds like you have. They're easy to make and I can just melt used plastics and make tails

I love seeing these hand-poured versions. Makes me want to try my hand at it.
