I have a HB Helix 9 at my console and just added a Lowrance HDS 9 up front. Can I transfer my HB waypoints via SD card to my Lowrance? The Lowrance is because of the MG Xi5 I got recently. Hopefully will learn the Go To Waypoint feature. smile

hooked

Do a search for HB to Lowrance and you should find it!

Not totally sure but with the newer units you should be able to output a .gpx file from the Bird then take it to the Lowrance unit.

Not sure about this^^^^^^^ but I could be wrong.

You usually have to save the HB files (.hwr) to .gpx and then upload those to some program that will then convert them to Lowrance (.usr). I use the HB program and then use the EasyGPS program to convert to Lowrance (.usr). The EasyGPS program is a free download and I use it to back up all my waypoints so it is good to have.

Do you have the Gateway and NMEA2000 backbone to use the GoTo function?

Works with MG Xi5, Xi3 and MK Terrova, Ulterra, PD V2 and Riptides as well.

The Lowrance unit should be able to import a .gpx file. GPSBabel is another free program that can convert HB .hwr files to the Lowrance .usr file format.

You can not transfer directly. The files have to be converted first . Use gps Babel.
