That these guys really are the best? If it hasn't, the show on Jacksonville should have. Not much of a lake but those guys figured it out pretty fast and caught a bunch of fish. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Most of those guys could come to our home lakes for one day and kick our arses. I'm constantly amazed just how good they really are.

They get help. Show can't afford to be a looser.

I don't see how anyone can dispute this Chris. They not only figured them out VERY quickly, they also managed some size on a lake that from what I understand has kinda taken a downturn. These guys continue to amaze me. One thing I have noticed is for the most part, they start out covering water as quickly as they can, then slow down as they develop a pattern or find groups of fish. They are a great lesson for the novice tourney angler as to giving a blueprint of how it's done. Plus it's a great show. Some aspects of it are a beating like the announcer guy who starts the show, but overall it's the best fishing show on TV.

Blindshot,

Yes, but I know I would be a better fisherman if I could afford to spent as much time on the water as they do. For me, fishing won't buy new shoes for my kids.

By the way, as you saw in the Classic, Conroe really put a beat down on more than a few of those guys. That made me feel just a little bit better about my abilities.

I would like to see big purses awarded that isnt part of entry fees.
The format is great.

That small fish bite hurt Hackney. He didnt make a quick enough adjustment.

Seriously doubt they get help on MLF.....lakes are small and all would be fishing exact same stuff if so.

Not on MLF they don't. And it's "loser".

Says everyone living in a world of denial.
Start looking at the results for the "local" circuits here in Texas. Same names appear over and over, most of these guys work for a living too. Some of these guys have gone on to play at the Pro level and returned. Ask them and they will tell you - the guys on the PRO circuit are the real deal.

It was interesting that the majority of them ended up with a spinning rod in their hands. Hack was late to the game and Horton didn't use one.
