I have two HSD 7 gen 1"s and a Gen 2, 9 touch. Currently have to 9 at the dash and a 7 at the bow. Thinking about putting the 9 up front and using both 7's at the dash. My boat is a 2002 Triton Tr20 and the dash is not very sturdy. I can't see where I would anchor one of the custom mounting brackets but thought I would seek the advice of the Forum. Thank in advance for any thoughts.

Did you steal my equiptment ??

Just kidding, but you have the same stuff as I just aquired.

I have a 2000 BassCat, And I am putting the 9 on the bow, its a gen 2 touch.
Mostly will use it in sonar and downscan mode.
The two 7's will be on the console. One is on top of the dash, the other will
be mounted on a Ram mount on the right gunnel.
Ill send you pictures when I have it done.

My nephew has his 2 nines on a ballzout mount with a custom bracket he built. He's running a Skeeter, mount system looks clean and works great.

I'd run a 7 up front, and do a 7 and 9 touch on the dash. Side by side and run your mapping on the 7 and 2D/side/down on the 9 touch.

No way I would put the 7 at the console! After doing a little graphing around with mine deep I realize why people run dual big graphs at console

Thanks for the input. Biggest concern for me is the lack of a stable location to mount 2nd unit at the console.
Again thanks for sharing.
