I installed a Peak backup camera today(Walmart}. Took 15 minutes and works like a charm. I believe it is worth the 100 bucks if you don't have one.

those are great! I installed one on the wife's car so she'd stop running over our driveway bush. My boat tower already had a camera and it really makes it easy.
As for "older vehicles", man these new things with all the regulations and government required bells and whistles are so dang expensive I'll never own a new one again. I refuse to give over 20k for something I'll just drive around and lose value. That's saving up for three years, that's long enough.
