Seems like no sandbass or hybrid bite until after 11am. Why is that?

I tore them up yesterday on Richland Chambers from 0700 to 0900 when I limited and went in. On any given body of water, one school might not eat until later, while others feed early. I have sat on a suspended school at mid day and had them suddenly turn on and then in 15 minutes just shut off. Fish do what they want. If a school wont eat, look for another school.

If you have a big full moon fish will often have lock jaw first thing in the morning and transition to a stronger late morning to mid day bite. I don't find that most moon phases affect freshwater fishing all that much. However, a full moon does greatly affect the bite in my opinion. Not sure if that applies in this particular situation or not.

I agree the full moon affects the morning bite. Sometimes it's tough but you have to be in the right place at the right time even if it's an accident.
