I told him, if you actually think I dont understand what the heck your doing back there that dope has really made you dumber. He got a high alright a high speed ride to the dock and promptly kicked out.

Are there any Bass clubs that someone would recommend?

You can go to Boerne Marine and they know of all the clubs around where you live and can point you in the right direction.
San Antonio has several old clubs that started way back in the day and San Antonio Bass club is probably one of the oldest.
Most bass clubers are members in other clubs as well. It just depends on how much you are able to fish.
Bass clubs are always welcoming new members and it's easy to get someone who needs a back seater to help share expenses and another person in the boat just makes it more enjoyable. Especially helpful if you know how to back up a trailer.

Just one more cast!

Best case scenario someone finds a tournament partner in me. But for now I'd like a "mentor" for boating, bass fishing, tournament fishing, etc.

Thanks

There is a club I think you might be interested in.
They are very into promoting the fishing aspect. The guys are really good folks.
Tournament fees are only $20.00 per person and an option for Big Bass is $5.00.
They travel to all kinds of lakes, this weekend we are fishing Decker Lake (east Austin.
Their format is just a little different from most. For the tournaments they are individual competition, but you fish
two people to a boat.
They have a meeting and vote on what lake to fish and what dates.
Then you either declare as a boater or non-boater. They draw names to see who is paired with who.
They always seem to have more boaters then non-boaters, so there is always a back seat available.

If I didn't have a pita wife and daughter, I'd love to have you fish with me. Sadly I don't hardly get time to fish now as it is.

I know I sent you a PM previously about fishing together. I still often have an open backseat. I fish the Tuesday night TTZ tournaments on Travis and I am planning on fishing TTZ in 2018 and I don't have a partner yet. I usually go fishing twice a week and lately it's been on mostly Travis
