I'd love to hit Palestine but I don't know a thing about that lake. Never been there. Things I need to know: best ramp closest to Dallas or good fishing. Where can I run... any dangers to avoid?

Probably couldn't do wrong launching at Flat creek and scanning for 15' to 20' of water.
As far as dangers to avoid ...... the whole durn lake is just full of stumps and most are just under water right now ..... My favorite stob I tie to is about a foot under water.

Someday I'll go with someone that knows there way around down there. I hate going blind to any lake especially stump filled ones. scared

Bobby it's same pattern as Fork.

Timber in 15 Feet of water or deeper. There is Timber just North of 2 mile bridge on East Side. Just North of pump area there. Be very careful a ton of timber not visible just below the surface.

There is Timber just South of the 2 mile bridge...I call it Sherwood Forest...much of Timber 6 inches out of water or just under.

North of 2 mile bridge and to the West in that arm is Caddo...more timber than you will know what to do with.

The bridge is holding fish just like the bridges at Fork.
Start up high and work your way down around the columns until you get bit. Find the columns in the shadows.

It's so easy to find Crappie right now it's like taking Candy from a basket at Halloween.

I caught them as shallow as 12 Feet and as deep as 27 Feet. But the sweet spot for us was 16 Feet on Monday but every day is different.

Small profile feather jigs in purple, white, baby blue, pink worked best for us.

You will have no problem with putting meat in the boat. You will also catch a ton of dinks but the keepers are there with them.

Like I said I'm off all day tomorrow. If you are having trouble call me and I'll help put you on some fish.

You can launch at public launch on northwest side of 2 mile bridge.

Fork or Tawokini they are both fishing the same.
