Went out yesterday, but the wind was pretty bad. Ended up fishing for largemouth. I did catch one white bass, but he was a little one. We boated 10 bass in 4 hours. Not the best, but better than sitting at home!!

Has anybody ever tried to crappie fish under the slips and what looks to be an abandoned boat house east of Murrell park? Are there any rules against it?

Well Finally! Got them suckers cornered this morning feeding against the rocks north side of lake. My sonar lite up like a Christmas tree. Most were in the 14" range and then Poof! They were gone. Kept 11 of the big ones and released the rest. Was fun while it lasted.

Work the rocks and small coves along the north side from Twin Coves to the dam. If you find them stacked on your fish finder start chunking slabs and small spinner baits. They may not be surface schooling but they will bite. And look for birds along the shoreline. That's where they have the bait fish cornered. I found them in 15 to 18 fow.

Sounds good. I found them late in the evening Saturday on the north side east of Murrell. Will hit every place tonight.

Caught 50 of these guys Wed morning . The new Mega imaging side scan let us just follow and stay right on top of this school of mags. They moved back and forth in 22 to 28 ft in front of Murrell.

Headed out in the morning to see if we can't catch a couple. Taking the thumper to see if we can keep them in one spot this week. If you see the boat that looks like a Porcupine that be us.

Thumper worked but only caught 8 big ones lots of 8 to 10 inch fish. All caught in front of Murrell in 22 to 30 ft.

Well yesterday evening was almost a bust 3 black bass and 2 sandies. Murrell is letting me down.
Caught one on the east point of the island and one close to Meadomere. I've lost my mojo.

I think er body loses MoJo on GV every once in a while. With me it's more often.
GV has changed a lot since I moved out there in 1968. Back then fish just jumped in my basket it seemed.
