I did some pier fishing last July around this time and had some phenomenal(at least to me) afternoon and evenings catching Black Drum. Caught 11 large adults in one day. I'm back in the same area this year and haven't even had one good bite. Was last year just a fluke/string of luck for this time of year or is something different right now. I'm by no means a saltwater expert so just trying to learn something. Thanks for any of y'all's thoughts.

Can't we all just get along....

Well, ... we caught some drum today that were mixed in with the trout today - for 5 straight hours.

Yes sir, drum need to feed during July just as much as they need to feed the other 11 months of the year.
