I've looked a few places for the New "Sprinker Frog" and zero luck! So I made my own with some tackle I had around the house and it's a pretty cool bait.

There's actually a couple different posts on here about modifying and making them. I know I posted one. River2sea already has a plopper tail you slip onto any frog. Be out soon

Made my own just to see if it would work. No pics but I tied a piece of 65lb braid to the front figure 8 that comes out the mouth of the frog. I liked a little hole in the center of the rear and put a swivel on the braid. Caught one decent one on it and it worked surprisingly good. Different swimbait tails work different, of course, but a money minnow tail works just like a whopper plopper. Those will get expensive though

Roumbanis sent me some pics and a video of one pretty close to that with one of his swimbait tails behind it. Looked just like the sprinker when he reeled it in. I have a few sprinkers on the way (a friend in Japan can get them) but if not or I want a different color it's nice to know they aren't hard to duplicate.
