Thinking about trying a little trip to fork for crappie. Never fished it for crappie. Just wondering what the best bite was ( standing timber, submerged, brush piles). Yes I know it is full of trees. Also time of day? Or does it matter? Looks like lots of quality fish caught during CAT. Any advice is appreciated?

I just posted about Tawokini and Fork is on the same pattern.

Bridges are holding fish. Timber is holding fish.

Timber off any main lake points 15-25 Feet of water.

12-20 Feet is the strike zone and 16 was the ticket for most bites yesterday.

1/8 ounce feather jigs in Purple, Baby Blue, Pink, White, Chartreuse all worked great.

Lots of dinks but the keepers are in there with them.

Good Luck! fish

I fished Fork Sunday. Best for us was right off the bottom in 22' under a bridge. Jigs did ok but the minnows did much better.
